If there is one ounce of wisdom I can impart to future brides, it is that you should savor the process of planning your wedding, not just the day. Of course your wedding day should be everything you dreamed of, but don't forget to enjoy all of the time spent with family and friends picking a dress, building centerpieces, making invitations, eating cake, meeting vendors and the list goes on. As you age and the responsibilities of life increase, it becomes more difficult to to see the people you love. Your wedding is not just a day, but a yearlong bonding experience.
